Living, working, creating in Southern Vermont.

I work within several mediums, including, but not limited to, watercolor, pencil, ink, acrylic, photography, encaustic, mixed media, and block printing. I am mostly inspired by nature, culture, and mythology.

I've been a student of art from a very young age, studying under amazing instructors and artists such as Daniel Gaudet, Clifford West, Budge Hyde, Tom Young, Youngsuk Suh, Jim Dow, Sandra Stark, and Tina Wasserman.

I received my Associates in Media Arts at Greenfield Community College in 2003, and my Bachelor's of Fine Arts at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in association with Tufts University in 2005.

My life partner, Josh Steele, and I owned and operated a small arts gallery in Brattleboro, VT called Through the Music Gallery & Studio from 2006-2012. In that space we featured over 200 artists and creators during the six year span.

A short list of some artists and styles I am inspired by are: Edward Gorey, Todd Hido, Banksy, Georgia O'Keefe, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Frida Kahlo, Japanese botanical illustration, Sally Mann, Aubrey Beardsley, Cindy Sherman, John James Audubon, Diane Arbus.
